Mystery Theater Evenings

Enjoy original plays written by Fairbanks’ own Marcia Trainor. Each play is a murder mystery game in one act, starring a colorful cast of local actors. A murder is discovered! The audience members become detectives, interview suspects, weigh the evidence, and help Principal Investigator Ida Solvdit solve the mystery.

Complimentary wine and appetizers are served. Admission is $40 per ticket. We have added a Silent Auction with the culinary artistry of local gourmet bakers as well as a dazzling display of treasures for you to bid on.

Mystery Theater evenings are sponsored by K+L Distributors, Spirit of Alaska Federal Credit Union and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fairbanks.

In Friday the 13th of October, 2017 The Clueless Players were in rare form as the performers in a second rate circus. ‘You’ll Die Laughing’ featured the discontented stories of each player towards a disgruntled and not-so-funny clown. The theater broke into teams and worked hard to solve the case. It was a hilarious spectacle and a Large Time for all!!

In October, 2016 Ida Solvit and the Clueless brought down the house performing, “Death By Design”! It was the 3rd and last performance by Hannah Simmons who was enthusiastically received with a standing ovation. Her ability to play innocent was so convincing that only one team thought she was in league with another character to do the dirty deed. She moved to Hawaii a week later and we lost her to a hit and run driver. She is sorely missed.
